Syllabus Compressor design, loss mechanisms, unstable operating conditions, means of stability enhancement, aeroelasticity, experimental validation.
Prerequisities for Participation Basic knowledge in thermodynamics and fluid mechanics (especially compressible flow) is essential. Flight Propulsion Fundamentals or Thermal Turbomachinery.
